Today for literacy we ventured out and did the StoryWalk at Village Park. The story in Duck on a Bike by David Shannon. Evie from our class and her family assisted in getting the story there! :) We loved it!
Dragon Master Author Tracey West was in Vermont and 1 of our lucky 2nd graders got to meet her! Check out this video!
In literacy we have been studying Folktales. We have read many fairy tales, fables, and tall tales. As a Champ Band Celebration we drew The Gingerbread Baby by Jan Brett and baked cookies. YUMMY!
