Gingerbread Houses

It was so much fun this afternoon constructing Gingerbread Houses.  The kids enjoyed the process and experience!  Thank you again to all our wonderful parents and grandparents for candy/food/frosting and your time.  The kids LOVED it!

Gingerbread Friends

Today in literacy we made Gingerbread Friends for the Gingerbread Baby.  We have really enjoyed reading Jan Brett books this week and incorporating baking and art!  Next week, we will make Gingerbread Houses.  Remember to send in your candy/food donation for decorating so we can get ALL items checked by Nurse Kelly.  (Peanut allergy)

This month we are doing a mini-unit about Gingerbread.  We are incorporating it into all areas of our day.  We even got to bake cookies today!  YUMMY!
