Fire Safety

Colchester Firefighters joined us today in Room 12. They had many great tips and pointers for all of us!

Watershed Model

This morning we had Stephanie from Lake Champlain Basin Program come in and show us how people can pollute the lake.  She also demonstrated ways people can keep pollution from getting into the lake.  Students truly enjoyed her display!  We will be visiting ECHO Science Center November 13th to wrap up our Lake Champlain Unit.

Harvest/Picnic

Today 2nd graders harvested the potato plants they planted last spring and donated them to the Colchester Food Shelf.  We are great community members and love giving back!  As part of our school-wide PBIS celebration we had an October picnic lunch outside!  Tomorrow room 12 will be doing a pajama day for filling our classroom bin!  Check out our day below!

Today students made friendship bracelets in Room 12.  We are working on our first I-Movie about friendship to be released soon!  Stay tuned...
