We have been sooo busy the past 7 days in 2nd grade getting to know each other, the classroom and ALL the new routines.  I have been taking pictures to try to capture what we have been doing.

Open House

It was such a pleasure to meet and visit with all my incoming families this morning!  It was a great turn out and the kiddos seem super excited for 2nd grade.  It is going to be a terrific year!

What an amazing year!  I was so lucky to be able to spend my days with your children.  I will miss them all very much!

Bode/Diabetes Bracelets

As many of you may know a member of our class has juvenile diabetes.  All members of our class have played a tremendous role in making sure Bode was safe throughout the day.  Students always walked Bode to and from the nurse and payed attention to signs to indicate how Bode was feeling.  Today Nurse Kelly came in and presented all of us a bracelet in appreciation.  The bracelets say Cure Diabetes.  They were dontated to our classroom from the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Ice Cream, T-shirts and Field Day!

What an exciting week in 2nd Grade!  We walked to The Village Scoop Monday and enjoyed ice cream, made field day t-shirts, and had a BLAST at Airport Park today!
