In reading workshop, we read and enjoyed
the story The Rainbow Fish. The students learned to check for
understanding while they are reading. As we did this during our whole
group lesson students discussed that it feels good to share with others!
We are working hard on establishing a community of learners who can learn
and play together. Honesty, trust, and kindness are key components of a
caring classroom. :)
