Gingerbread Theme/Gingerbread Fred

We will be beginning to do many literacy, math, writing, and art projects around Gingerbread.  For one of the art projects we are looking for ribbon, buttons, pom-poms, yarn, fabric scraps, scrap booking paper, beads, or any other "crafty" items.  If you have any crafty type supplies and are willing to donate them to our class please send them in with your child.  Thank you~

Today I read Gingerbread Fred to the class and introduced "Fred" and the writing journal.  Gingerbread Fred spent the past weekend with me.  I then wrote in the journal about all the adventures we did together.  Each child will have an opportunity to have Gingerbread Fred for an evening.  Please help your child make a journal entry and draw or include a picture.  They have been reading journal entries from previous years and are SUPER excited!
